Technology and Product Strategy at SysMik

>>

LON technology

Henceforth SysMik will go on focusing on the LON technology and in particular on the global LonMark-Standard with all its possibilities and potentials. Our co-operations with Loytec as manufacturer of the 32-Bit platform for native LON and with Newron System, the developer of the European tool standard are important assumptions for this. The LonMark organization globally sustains the interoperability idea.

>>

LON and BACnet

The Loytec technology provides us with additional chances to offer interoperable products within the BACnet environment in new quality. Thus we are using functions from LonMark profiles as Macros for our programming tool, allowing to create interoperable LON and BACnet applications.

>>

WEB technology

WEB technologies represent an important enrichment for our product developments. The so far prevailing contrast between decentralized automation and centralized management is terminated with OPC-XML: Visualization is realized where data are available. In combination with OPC visualization clients OPC-XML paves the way to new automation and management solutions. Web services such as XML-SOAP build the bridge between automation and IT world.

>>

M2M

Our partnership with Tridium opens up the access to the currently most performant platform for web based management systems for us, which abstract from the lower communication protocols by a normalized data description, thus paving the way for M2M (automation network / IT).

>>

applicationfriendly device technology

Since 2003 wee co-operate with Phoenix Contact, completing the platform Inline Modular with a performant, graphically programmable controller for LON and also BACnet in the meantime. We will open up in common the interesting market of building automation based on the LonMark standard. We see new application opportunities for the LON technology especially in the industrial environment and Phoenix Contact, being the market leader in this field, promises interesting synergies.
